Clearing and Forwarding

We are licensed by the Tanzania Customs Service providing Clearing and Forwarding services in Tanzania. We can assist in the clearing and consolidation of shipping, road, rail and air cargo with speed and efficiency. We maintain strong professional affiliation with the concerned cargo service regulatory agencies and ground handling companies.

A clearing and forwarding agent normally undertakes the following activities:

1. Receiving the goods from the factories

   

   or premises of the principal or his agents;

2. Warehousing these goods;
3. Receiving dispatch orders from the principal;
4. Arranging dispatch of goods as per the directions of the principal by engaging transport on his own or through the authorized transporters of the principal;
5. Maintaining records of the receipt and dispatch of goods and the stock available at the warehouse

GAPP Logistics Ltd performs clearing and forwarding operations by use of stock of academic knowledge of staffs acquired from Tanzania Institute of Tax Administration and various Universities/Institutions. These operations are performed in the following customs and excise controlled point of cargo entry/borders: I. Dares Salaam Port -Tanzania Ports Authority Here the company handles imports from various port of the World to Tanzania, and neighboring countries such as Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo Brazzaville, Zambia, Malawi and other countries.
